Dr. Roy attended medical school at the University of Nairobi. He was fully involved in research and published papers ranging from COVID research to Orthopedic Surgery during undergrad.
After medical school, he worked as a doctor in a remote underprivileged part of Western Kenya, treating various diseases in various departments such as pediatrics, surgery, internal medicine, and mental health.
After a year, he returned to the capital, where he was actively involved in leveraging technology to disrupt the norms in providing health care using AI, remote care monitoring, telemedicine, etc.Â
He is passionate about mental health and optimizing good work-life balance among peers. As such, he is actively involved in best mental health practices such as yoga, breathing techniques, and alternative medicine as a holistic approach to caring for the human being.
